It was fantastic to have been part of the inaugural SXSW London this year, producing the festival’s red carpet premieres at the Barbican Centre.
South By Southwest originated in Austin, Texas, with the first event being held in 1987. The festival was created as a way of discussing the future of entertainment and media, with music being the main factor initially. The success of SXSW grew rapidly, adding Interactive and Film categories in 1994.

Since then, SXSW has expanded, starting with the first SXSW European festival here in London – and we were thrilled to be a part of it. Thousands of industry professionals, musicians, film makers, producers, investors and start-ups attended and hosted. It was a very busy week with each night featuring an exceptional film/tv series. We were delighted to produce multiple red carpets and welcomed incredible talent such as Orlando Bloom, Bryce Dallas Howard and Nick Mohammed for the new action-comedy Deep Cover, as well as Tom Hiddleston and Chiwetel Ejiofor for the new adaptation of Stephen King’s Life of Chuck. All premieres were hosted at one of London’s key creative hubs, the Barbican Centre. See more of what we worked on below.
