In 2022, Nibbs Events collaborated with EON Productions and MGM to produce The Sound of 007 in Concert at the Royal Albert Hall to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond franchise.
“An unmissable evening of entertainment marking the 60th Anniversary took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Tuesday October 4, 2022. The Sound of 007 IN CONCERT featured the music of some of the most illustrious names in James Bond music history, and benefitted music charities Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy and the BRIT Trust.
Original James Bond recording artists Dame Shirley Bassey, Lulu and Shirley Manson and her band Garbage performed iconic 007 songs alongside guest vocalists Celeste, Ella Eyre, Jamie Cullum, John Grant and Paloma Faith accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra conducted by Nicholas Dodd. The Sound of 007 IN CONCERT was curated by five-time James Bond composer David Arnold. No Time To Die composer Hans Zimmer also performed at the concert.” – 007 Magazine
Nibbs Events managed all areas of production for this very special project, key roles outlined below.
- All contracting with the venue, orchestra and artists to include TV broadcast rights.
- Design of stage set and lighting, plus overall design of the evening.
- Management of 4,000 ticket sales plus management of guest flow for this number of guests on the night.
- Looking after VIP talent including managing schedules, rehearsals and catering.
- Liaising closely with David Arnold regarding run of show and all other requirements.
- Working closely with the TV production company.
- Production of backstage media requirements.
